Students wanting to take the AMC 10 or AMC 12 exam in February 2019 will need to sign up no later than this Thursday, Oct. 18th with their math teacher.  The registration fee is $2.00, which you will need to pay this week when you sign up. (10/16-10/18) – J. Zimprich

In partnership with the YWCA and ASAP of Anderson County, we are recognizing this week as Domestic Violence Awareness week. In recognition of this week, Youth Ambassadors and Cheerleaders will be painting 1 (ring finger) fingernail purple during lunch Wednesday, October 17th and Thursday, October 18th.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Chemistry Week.  National Chemistry Week culminates on Tuesday October 23 at 6:02 am.  Chemistry week is all about the Mole.  It represents a very large number:  A mole of marshmallows would cover the United States to a depth of 600 miles.

Seniors, the Tennessee Promise meeting for students in the Class of 2019 will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 2:00.  We will make an announcement at 1:50 for Seniors to report to the Auditorium. Tennessee Promise handbooks and initial information about the scholarships will be presented by Tennessee Achieves. (M-Th 10.18) B. Ottinger

 

Seniors, want your baby picture and a message from your family memorialized in the yearbook forever? Please remind your parents that they must send in salutations or purchase them online by October 22 for senior ads and salutations to appear in the back of the book.
