STUDENT INFO

National Honor Society welcomes you back to school with free tutoring from Paulina Urbanowicz and Morgan Loggins. Come to the Counseling Center from 3:15 to 3:50 on Tuesday.

Students wanting to take the AMC 10 or AMC 12 exam in February 2019 will need to sign up no later than this Thursday, Oct. 18th with their math teacher.  The registration fee is $2.00, which you will need to pay this week when you sign up. (10/16-10/18) – J. Zimprich

SENIOR INFO

 

Seniors, the Tennessee Promise meeting for students in the Class of 2019 will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 2:00.  We will make an announcement at 1:50 for Seniors to report to the Auditorium. Tennessee Promise handbooks and initial information about the scholarships will be presented by Tennessee Achieves. (M-Th 10.18) B. Ottinger

 

Any senior who has not signed the board for the senior shirt has until the end of the lunch period on Wednesday, October 17. The boards will then be sent to the printer. (10/16-10/17) – T. Ledden

COUNSELING INFO

 

An admissions representative from Worcester Polytechnic Institute will meet with interested students on Friday the 19th during lunch. If interested, please plan to visit the Counseling Office during lunch.  (10/16-10/19) – A. Morris

The Steven L. Coffey Memorial Scholarship is now open. The award amount is $1,500-$2,500 yearly for four years. If interested visit www.etf.org/scholarships or see Mrs. Morris in the Counseling Office. Deadline to apply is February 15, 2019. (10/16-2/15 T, Th) – A. Morris

 

ATHLETICS THIS WEEK

 

Off Season Conditioning for the 2019 season of Track and field will begin Tuesday October 16th for athletes who have a physical dated after April 15th and are NOT CURRENTLY IN SEASON for another sport.  If you have any questions about Track & Field please see Coach Sauer in LC 308.   (10.16) – T.
