Oak Ridge High School Physics students turned in spectacular performances on this year’s AAPT Physics Bowl exam. Over 7200 students representing 638 schools around the globe took this exam. Our students competed in Region 10, which includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Tennessee. We had competitors in both Division I (first-year physics students) and Division II (second-year physics students.)

Junior David Joy won the Division I competition as the highest scoring participant in Region 10! In the team competition, Oak Ridge High School won the Division I competition and came in third in the Division II competition. Division I team mebmers: David Joy, Steven Qu, Michael Lambert, Ethan Brady, Thomas Peplow and Batu Odbadrakh. Division II team members: Bill Andress, Connor Shelander, Josh Bridges, Jacob Ferragut and Caden Webb.
