GENERAL INFORMATION

To serve as Title I secretary by performing bookkeeping services for Title I and providing primary clerical support for Title I Supervisor. Also provides administrative support to district and school level staff on issues related to school safety and emergency planning.

DUTIES

Duties include:

  • Ability to arrange Title I funded activities and process appropriate supporting documentation
  • Procure materials, coordinate resources, and manage fiscal transactions in Skyward
  • Monitor, revise, and reconcile budgets and program documentation in ePlan
  • Function as the primary administrative support for Title I Supervisor
  • Coordinate the review, editing, and updating of Emergency Operations Plans for district/schools annually
  • Involve appropriate stakeholders in the development of district/school level Emergency Operations Plans through the formation of a safety team to include the following: police and fire departments, emergency management agency, local medical facilities, community partners, administrators, parents, and students
  • Network with appropriate stakeholders to enhance school safety at the district and/or school level
  • Coordinate professional development for district faculty and staff related to school violence, crime prevention, bullying, and other issues that promote a safe schools environment

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal skills; sound judgment and discretion, professional demeanor, and ability to lead training for large and small groups; experience in an academic environment preferred; experience with budgets and spreadsheets preferred; Coursework/training/certification in school safety planning and emergency management preferred

SALARY RANGE

$30,755-$38,527
