The City of Oak Ridge wants to inform our families of the Make Oak Ridge Energy Efficient (MORE2) program. The MORE2 program working in conjunction with the City of Oak Ridge Electric Department is upgrading 230 homes of qualified Oak Ridge residents at no cost. The upgrades can include free retrofits, such as new Heating and Cooling systems, new water heaters, and whole home insulation which will lower electric bills, improve home comfort, and help the environment.
We are excited to invite you to participate in MORE2.
Qualifying homes must:
- be at least twenty years old (built before 1996)
- have electric heat
- meet income requirements
