Woodland School Counseling

Hello! My name is Leigh Marlar, and I am the School Counselor at Woodland Elementary. I have been at Woodland since 2008. I have been a counselor with Oak Ridge Schools since 2002. I have a Master’s degree in counseling from the University of Tennessee, an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Tennessee. School counselors work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, staff members, students, parents, and community members to promote academic and social development for all students.
