The Oak Ridge school district has been ranked number 1 in the state of Tennessee in the Niche 2017 Best School Districts. This ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and public school district ratings. Oak Ridge Schools were given an overall grade of A+ by Niche, based on the factors in the table below.Ā  Each of the individual schools in the Oak Ridge School District also fall in the A range, contributing to the overall district score.
