Jefferson and Robertsville Middle Schools recently held their annual Geographic Bees. At RMS, 6th grader Matt Kitts repeated as the winner after he correctly answered an question during a tie-breaker round. 8th grader Adison White placed second while 6th grader London Asquith finished third. At Jefferson, Griffin Miller also repeated as the winner of the JMS Geography Isaiah Porter was the top 5th grader while Jack Biewer was the top 6th grade contestant. Robert Vogt had the highest 7th grade score. Both Matt and Griffin are presently preparing for the opportunity to complete in the Tennessee State Geographic Bee. That event will be held in Middle Tennessee during the spring.
