Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

The Driving Center is again offering two Driver Education classes over Fall Intersession.  First class starts Oct. 2nd and the second Oct 9th.  All classes meet from 8:00am till 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday. Choose the class that fits your schedule. Testing can be administered here at The Driving Center.  A permit is not required to complete the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training.  Please call (865) 482-6700 for more information or to enroll. Students who signed up for the ASVAB Test with the Last Names A-M  Will test this Thursday in the Amphitheater from 8 am – 11 am. Students with the last name N-Z who signed up will take the test next Thursday 9/28/17 in the Amphitheater 8 am – 11 am.  (9/19-9/20) – C. Wilson

COUNSELING INFO

The National Youth Science Camp is a residential science education program for young STEM enthusiasts the summer after they graduate from high school. Students from around the country (two are selected to represent each state and Washington, D.C.) are challenged academically in exciting lectures and hands-on studies, and have voluntary opportunities to participate in an outdoor adventure program, gain a new and deep appreciation for the great outdoors, and establish friendships that last a lifetime. Are you Latino? Do you have a story to share? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then International Friends has an opportunity for you. Meet after school on Friday in LC 335 to share your story in order to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.  You will be interviewed about what it means to be Latino or how your family’s culture impacts your life?  We hope to see you there and be able to learn your story, too!
