Congratulations, you have made it to the first holiday break of the 2017-18 school year! If your grade is not where you would like it to be, seek help from Sam Sepulveda and Sarah Roth, the NHS tutors who will be available from 3:15-3:50 in the Counseling Center Tuesday after school. Are you interested in planning Prom 2018?  Come to the Prom Board interest meeting on Thurs Sept 7 in LC 313 immediately after school to find out all about what we do, when we do it and how you can become part of all the fun. The petition to become a member of Prom Board will be distributed at the end of the meeting. If you have questions please see Ms. Eidam. (9/1, 9/5, 9/6) – S. Eidam

The ASVAB Test will be administered @ Oak Ridge High School on Thursday, September 21, 2017 @ 8:00 a.m. in the Amphitheater.  The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take steps now toward finding a career that’s right for you. You can benefit from the Program whether you plan to pursue further education right after high school or enter the workforce right away. The program is designed to help you:  learn more about yourself and the world or work, explore occupations in line with your interests and skills, and develop an effective strategy to realize your career goals.  .  Students must sign up in Student Services by Friday, Sept. 15th. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

SENIOR SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST: Please submit your designs for the Class of 2018 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Tuesday, September 12. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt—open to all grade levels. We need a front design and a back design. Each of these designs is a separate “contest”. Prizes for each contest are as follows: Front – $25; Back – $25. Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2018 into your drawings. Place your name and homeroom teacher’s name on the back of each design entry. Entries must be original work and if selected, will become the property of Oak Ridge High School. (Selection committee reserves the right to combine two or more designs in which case each person will receive prize money.) (Tu, W, F, Tu 9.5) – T. Ledden
