Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Attention all students registered to take an AP Exam in May. You must attend a pre-administration session prior to testing. These sessions will be held before school at 7:15, during 5a lunch, and immediately after school at 3:15 on Monday, April 10Tuesday, April 11, and Thursday, April 13 – Before and after school only in the amphitheater. You only have to attend one session regardless of how many exams you intend to take. (4/4 – 4/7) A. Henry

Don’t Trash Your Cash! Play Trashketball at the Wildcat Credit Union for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Simply open a new account or make a transaction of at least $1. Take three shots from the free throw line. For each shot made, you will be entered in a drawing to win the $100 gift card grand prize or one of three second prizes of $10 each. Come be a part of the award winning ORHS Band Color Guard and perform with the WildBand at football games and competitions. No experience necessary. Performing Arts and Wellness C credits are earned for this audition only high school class. Clinic starts on Tuesday, April 11th, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm in the Band Room. Did you somehow miss the Prom ticket pre-sales the week before Spring Break?  Prom Board is offering a quick 2 day pre-sale Thursday April 6th and Friday April 7th for the same low price of $30 for singles and $60 for couples. If you miss this sale you will have to purchase your tickets the week of Prom when the prices increase to $40 and $80. (F 4/7)

Celebrate National Poetry Month by composing your own Black Out Poem!  Poetry will be judged by our very own creative writing experts and prizes will be awarded at the end of the month.  Come by the library for more information or to pick up supplies, but don’t wait, cause the deadline for submitting your Black Out Poem is April 21. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

This week at Math Club we will work together on TMTA Math Competition Practice Tests, so if you are not a member but would like to practice with your peers, please bring your practice tests and we’ll have a work session.  We will briefly discuss upcoming elections and the National Mu Alpha Theta Math Convention as well.  Snacks will be provided.  After school in Mrs. Mullins’ room, CS231.
